The Wheel of Dharma, or dharmachakra, is an Indian religious symbol most strongly associated with Buddhism. Its turning represents the teaching of the path to liberation; in the familiar eight-spoked form, the spokes commonly stand for the Noble Eightfold Path. In Hindu thought, dharma also refers to principles such as duty, righteous conduct, and the order that sustains life and society. The dharma wheel is distinct from Vishnu's Sudarshana chakra, a separate discus-shaped weapon. This category focuses on the Wheel of Dharma as a religious symbol within the broader Hinduism collection. It contains three downloadable PNG items.
